Let’s take great photos!

① Chichibugahama Beach in Kagawa

When low tide and sunset coincide, you can take photos just like those taken at Bolivia’s Uyuni salt falts, in which the water surface serves as a mirror to reflect the sky. Ripple marks created by the tides also make a great effect.

Let’s cycle around the islands!

② “Cycling Road” on Setouchi Shimanami Kaido Expressway

The “Cycling Road” on Setouchi Shimanami Kaido Expressway is Japan’s only cycling road that allows cyclists to cross the strait. You can rent a bicycle, which you can drop off at any one of 13 different stations, and ride on a road with a total length of about 70 km.

Let’s make delicious Setouchi dishes!

③ Okonomiyaki-cooking in Hiroshima

OKOSTA, a studio for okonomiyaki (pancake with meat, seafood, cabbage and other vegetables) cooking, offers you an opportunity to make your own Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, one of Hiroshima’s specialties, using a large griddle and spatulas. With great access from JR Hiroshima Station, the place also offers Muslim friendly and vegetarian menus of okonomiyaki. English instruction is also available! (Reservation required)

⑤ NARUTO & BORUTO Shinobi-Zato

A new hands-on ninja attraction “NARUTO & BORUTO Shinobi-Zato” is now open at the “Nijigen no Mori” anime-themed park in Awajishima Park in Hyogo Prefecture! The place is filled with various attractions, including an athletic facility in which you can experience the world of anime and “Ninjutsu AR” using a smartphone app.

One of the att.JAPAN editors visited Kagawa Prefecture!
I fully enjoyed Kagawa Prefecture in spring, including not only Kagawa’s specialty, sanuki-udon noodles, but also the famous Ritsurin Garden in Takamatsu City, Shodoshima Olive Park, and Angel Road on Shodo Island!
If you are interested in my trip to Kagawa, please visit our website.
