ReleaseApril 18, 2019

Thank you for coming back.

Have you already noticed a poster for Kanda-matsuri Festival? There is less than a month until the festival on May 10 to 12. Therefore, my Kaji 2-chome Women’s division had a meeting. It was held at “APRON The DINER” from 13:00 on April 13 (Sat). The restaurant is actually on the 1st floor of Apa Hotel Kanda-Ekimae. The restaurant is open every day for morning buffet, but usually closed for lunch and dinner on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. The meeting was Saturday, but the restaurant opened especially for us because we were a large group. The restaurant was the perfect size for about 20 of us, sitting in two rows facing each other. The place was brighter than I expected. Starting with appetizers with vegetables and shrimp, we enjoyed roast beef, pasta, and a small apple pie, along with all-you-can-drink (about 4,800 yen; various courses are offered from 3,500 to 6,800 yen). It was a meeting but more like a girl’s party! Everything was delicious. On weekdays, the restaurant offers lunch for about 900 yen and most of the customers are women working in the neighborhood. I love having lunch at a restaurant! I used to go for lunch at restaurants and cafes almost every day when I was working as a sales staff…. But now, I have to make lunch for my husband. I wish he would say “you should go out for lunch once in a while.”
