ReleaseAugust 19, 2019

“Yokohama Yukata Cruise,” a ticket for renting a set of yukata (summer cotton kimono), obi (belt), and geta (wooden clogs), getting a dressing service by a professional dresser, and joining a Yokohama cruise tour, will be available until September 23 (Mon, holiday). This is an event sponsored by “Yokohama Haikara Kimono Kan, Red Brick Warehouse Branch,” a company for kimono rental and sales. For the set of yukata, obi, and geta included in this ticket, you can choose your favorite one from more than 100 kinds (for women) or 10 kinds (for men). After choosing your yukata, put it on with the help of a professional dresser, take a sightseeing boat, “Marine Rouge,” from Pier Akarenga, which is located behind Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, and enjoy the night view while cruising in the Yokohama Port.
It is a discount ticket combining a set of new yukata of your choice (yukata, obi, and geta) (which are equivalent to 13,000 yen for women, 15,000 yen for men), dressing assistance by a professional dresser (equivalent to about 3,000 yen), and a ticket for “Marine Rouge” (equivalent to about 2,000 yen). The yukata you chose will be yours after the tour, so you can go home in it. Visit Yokohama and enjoy lots!
