RecipeOhitashi with Boiled Japanese Parseley


1 bundle seri (Japanese parsley)


1First, add the roots of Japanese parsley to a pot of boiling water.

2Once the roots are tender, add the leaves to the pot.

3Remove everything from the boiling water and cool in a bowl of iced water.

4Since some dirt may remain, rinse well under running water.

5After draining, line up on a cutting-board with all the roots facing in the same direction, and slice into 6-7-cm long pieces.

6Serve and eat!

Liquid Measures:
1 cup = 200ml = 6.76 fl oz
1 tablespoon = 15ml = 0.5 fl oz
1 teaspoon = 5ml = 0.16 fl oz
