SpotMatsugatsuji

Omicho Market is often called the kitchen of Kanazawa due to it supporting the Kanazawa food culture for some 250 years. With approximately 170 fish, meat and vegetable shops it is easy to see where the nickname came from.

Famous for traditional Japanese confectionery, Kanazawa, equaled only by Kyoto, is home to the Kashi Bunka Kaikan (Ishikawa Confectionery Culture Center) which displays seasonal confectionery and the tools used in producing confectionery.
