SpotShizuoka oden

Shizuoka oden (a stew-like Japanese dish consisting of fish cake and vegetables) features strong soy sauce and a broth made with beef sinew. Shizuokans use “kuro hampen,” gray sardine cake instead of “hampen,” light puffy white fish cake. Shizuoka oden is served with bonito flakes and green laver powder sprinkled over the dish, which is unique to Shizuoka oden.
