Mount Tsukuba (Tsukuba-san)
Mount Tsukuba is one of the 100 famous Japanese mountains and is often called “Mount Fuji in the west, and Mount Tsukuba in the east.”
The double peaks, Mount Nantai (871 meters) and Mount Nyotai (877 meters), of Mount Tsukuba have a number of power spots, including a huge Japanese cedar tree and weird-shaped rocks. Enjoy climbing and hiking in the mountains.

temperatures in the mountains can be much lower
so be sure to wear appropriate clothing and hiking
shoes. A spare set of clothing is recommended.
