SpotKosanji Temple

Construction of Kosan-ji Temple in Ikuchi-jima island was completed over the course of some 30 years, straddling the World War II years. Within the complex, there are large numbers of temple-style buildings, which resemble old and famous temples in Japan with "modern improvements," and many of them are designated as tangible cultural properties of the nation.
