The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, is known for its vast Oriental art collection. Among its 100,000 works, about 90 selected works, including statues of Buddha, Buddhist paintings, picture scrolls, ink paintings from the Middle Ages and modern paintings are being exhibited. Many masterpieces and potential national treasures created in Japan but now housed in the U.S will be included in this exhibition.
