Nijo Castle Light-up

A variety of cherry blossoms including someiyoshino (the most common type in Japan) at every place in the castle, yamazakura and satozakura in Sakura-no-en garden, benishidare-zakura (weeping type) in the east part of Seiryu-en Garden, and majestic buildings are all fantastically illuminated. Important cultural property Ninomaru Palace Daidokoro (kitchen) will be colorfully enlivened with Kyoto’s traditional culture such as ikebana (flower arrangement) and Japanese music.
