Tazukuri (small dried sardines)
1 cup of niboshi (dried baby sardines)
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
2 tablespoons of mirin
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 teaspoon of sesame seeds
Roast the niboshi in a frying pan until it smells nicely roasted.
Add the seasonings into the pan and boil them down while mixing them to coat the fish well with the seasonings.
Japanese Liquid Measures:1 cup = 200ml = 6.76 fl oz
1 tablespoon = 15ml = 0.5 fl oz
1 teaspoon = 5ml = 0.16 fl oz
