A ea market held in the precincts of Chion-ji Temple of Hyakumanben, in front of Kyoto University, on the 15th of each month. Originated in 1987 as a place where amateur creators presented their handmade works, now about 450 shops sell their handmade foods, clothes, and other original goods. Selling goods that are not handmade is banned, which makes the fair unique and dierent from other ea markets.
