Before you batheAt the entrance, take off your shoes and place them in a locker. Then, pay the bathing fee at the front desk. As of May 2025, the standard fee at sento in Tokyo is 550 yen for any-one aged 12 and over (sauna use requires an additional fee).4. Bathing etiquetteAfter undressing in the changing room, head to the bathing area. If you have long hair, tie it up to keep it out of the water—that’s considered good manners.
