Located just three stops from Shibuya Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line, this residential neighborhood has a calm, relaxed at-mosphere.There are also a few hidden nuggets to delight food lovers. If you’re with the family, I highly recommend Curry Station Niagara, where Japanese curry dishes are served by a little electric train! After strolling around the neighborhood, I love to take a break at SIDEWALK COFFEE, which is housed in a renovated old Japanese house. I take the opportunity to read a bit and enjoy their homemade cof-fee with bitter orange syrup. A real treat! My day usually ends with a visit to the Yutenji Temple, which gives its name to the district. This place is a true haven of peace. In spring, the tem-ple’s many cherry blossom trees also offer a magnificent sight.Yutenji Station, between Naka-meguro and Gakugei-daigaku, is not an express train stop, which makes it a little quieter, with a more local flair.
