3Nine prefectures—Shiga, Kyoto, Hyogo, Nara, Wakayama, Tottori, Tokushima, Fukui, and Mie—come together in this pavilion to showcase their history, culture, and visions for the present and future. In the Kyoto Zone, exhibits are regularly updated to highlight the charm of Kyoto through six themes: culture, food, industry, environment, life, and tourism. Fukui Prefecture, home to one of the world’s largest dinosaur museums, offers a powerful VR experience with a four-sided video that takes visitors on a journey from the era of the flourishing of dinosaurs to their extinction and into the future, along with interactive fossil excavation experiences. It provides an interactive experience of future healthcare and lifestyle innovations. In the “Body Measuring Pod,” visitors can assess the health of their musculoskeletal system, cardiovascular system, skin, hair, and more, with rankings calculated based on their condition. Using this data, a visual representation of their future selves 25 years later is displayed on the screen. Additionally, visitors can explore cutting-edge healthcare solutions, such as the “Personal Food Stand,” where AI analyzes their physical condition and recommends personalized nutrients and food ingredients.
