Known for its unique scenery of white walls and red-tiled roofs lining the Tama River, it is a popular tour-ist destination. In addition to admiring the historical buildings, visitors can also enjoy shopping and sampling local treats at renovated shops. Seeking a nostalgic atmosphere, I visited the Kurayoshi Shirakabe Storehouse District during the summer in August. Based on my experi-ence, I’ll share all of its captivating charm!Writer: Kosuke Teramoto https://www.kurayoshi-kankou.jp/en/This building, originally a soy sauce factory constructed during the Taisho era (1912–1926), has been renovated and now offers a variety of Tottori’s specialty products, local sake, and crafts. It’s the perfect place to pick up souvenirs! I chose a local delicacy—senbei crackers infused with the rich fla-vor of Matsuba crab. The building itself used to be a soda fac-tory, and its retro charm is highlighted by the original product name still displayed on the wall. The center is equipped with coin lockers and even offers free rentals of umbrellas and selfie sticks, making it a convenient starting point for your exploration.由於倉吉白壁土藏群的景點分布比較分散，建議首先到此處的旅遊服務中心拿地圖或手冊。這棟建築的前身是碳酸飲料工廠，牆上還保留著當時的商品名稱，充滿復古又可愛的氣氛。這個服務中心內設有寄物櫃，還可以免費借用雨傘或自拍棒，非常方便。20倉吉白壁土藏群位於鳥取縣中部的倉吉市，是一處沿著玉川的著名觀光景點，白牆與紅瓦屋頂交織出的獨特景觀非常吸引人。在這裡，除了欣賞歷史建築的魅力，還能在老宅翻新而成的店鋪中購物，或是享受逛逛吃吃的樂趣。這次筆者在8月的仲夏時期來到這邊欣賞復古的景觀，根據這次的體驗毫無保留地向大家介紹此地的迷人之處！筆者：寺本光佑 JR Kurayoshi Station Bus Terminal Platform 2 → 12 min by “City Line Nishi-Kurayoshi Route” bus → Akagawara/Shirakabe Dozo-gun stop → 5 min walk / Tottori Sta. → 1 hr by car 於JR倉吉站巴士站2號月台→搭乘公車「市內線（往西倉吉方向）」約12分鐘→於赤瓦、白壁土藏群站下車→步行5分鐘／從鳥取站開車約1小時
