City of boulangeries, KOBE

After opening the port in 1868, various items were imported into Kobe. In 1869, the first boulangerie of Kobe opened in the foreign settlement area in Kobe, and since then many boulangeries have opened in Kobe and continue to do so today.

Sweets & bakery directly operated by Kobe’s luxury hotel “HOTEL LA SUITE KOBE HARBORLAND.” Elegant and seasonal breads using local ingredients and sweets made by chefs of the hotel are sold.

A butter-crepe shop with a cute panda mascot. They make fresh crepes served with highly selected fruits and ingredients.
