Aizu-Oshio Station
This unstaffed station stands alone in a tranquil setting. From early to mid-April, cherry blossoms and field mustard flowers bloom around it, creating a warm and picturesque scenery.
This scenic plaza is located near Aizu-Kawaguchi Station, which has been selected as one of the “100 Best Stations in Tohoku.” The view combines quaint villages and fields near the water’s edge, the flow of the Tadami River, and the JR Tadami Line running alongside, showcasing Japan’s traditional rural landscape. Particularly enchanting are the early morning and evening vistas, the villages emerging from the misty river after rain, and the snow-covered scenery resembling ink wash paintings, with the Tadami Line trains running through.

Mugenkyo Ferryboat
Take a tranquil boat ride across a quiet river while enjoying the breathtaking view of a misty gorge. The boatman provides guidance as you drift leisurely, creating a calming and serene experience. This activity is available from late April to late November (advance reservations required).
There are four hot spring facilities here, all with natural hot spring waters flowing directly from the source. Some baths provide a panoramic view of the Tadami River and the Tadami Line trains. Stay at a secluded inn surrounded by mountains, and let the peaceful atmosphere melt away your daily-life fatigue.

This small temple (Enzoji Temple for short), built on a white cliff approximately 1,200 years ago, is a popular destination for prayers for good fortune, academic success, and business prosperity. The area becomes particularly picturesque during the cherry blossom season in spring and colored foliage season in autumn.
