Discover Your Favorite Works Throughout the City
Manhole covers featuring artwork from popular manga published by Kichijoji-based publisher Coamix, including “Fist of the North Star” and “City Hunter,” can be found in various locations around the north exit of Kichijoji Station. Kichijoji Ongakusai (Music Festival) 2026
Kichijoji has a long history as a gathering place for music lovers, home to jazz cafes and live music clubs spanning many genres. Now in its 41st year, this festival is one of the city’s most iconic celebrations of that musical culture. During the event plazas in front of the station, shopping streets, and commercial spaces turn into live performance venues, filling the neighborhood with music and energy.
