GRAND GREEN OSAKA
Under the theme of the fusion between “green” and “innovation,” this complex facility was opened in the Umekita area in September 2024. Consisting of the north district and south district divided by Umekita Park, the facility offers a variety of spaces, from restaurants serving various kinds of dishes and cuisines to an urban-type spa set to open in March 2025. Umekita Park(GRAND GREEN OSAKA)
Directly connected to Osaka Station, this huge park takes up half the premises of GRAND GREEN OSAKA with an area of about 90,000 square meters. The North Park will turn into a space rich in nature with lots of trees, while the South Park will be an urban-style space with a lawn square and a water feature. The park also has public art works, which allow visitors to get a fresh perspective.

Designed by the world-famous architect Ando Tadao, this cultural facility featuring a symbolic building hosts special exhibitions and events open to the world. Free from any specific theme, the facility offers experiences based on the fusion of various cultures, from cutting-edge technologies of today to traditional culture. At the cafe on the first floor, you can relax with a cup of coffee while gazing out at the park.

Umekita Underground Gate of Osaka Station
Newly installed at Osaka Station, this ticket gate allows people to go directly to Kansai International Airport, with Kansai-Airport Express HARUKA, which has begun stopping at the station recently. The gate incorporates the latest technologies, such as facial recognition gates and all-glass platform screen doors.
