About 1,000 cherry trees bloom throughout the park, and its convenient location near the downtown area makes it especially popular during hanami season. Adjacent to Maizuru Park, Ohori Park is beloved for its scenic blend of water and greenery, offering a relaxing atmosphere for visitors and locals alike.
About a 15-minute walk from Ohori Park, Nishi Park is the only site in Fukuoka Prefecture selected as one of Japan’s “Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots.” Here, you can admire around 1,300 cherry trees in full bloom.
