Nagatoro Town: A tourism hot spot just two hours from Tokyo, where you can enjoy rich nature and spectacular fall foliage!

We have received the information below from Tourism Devision of Saitama Prefectural Government Department.
Every year from November 1st to November 30th, the Fall Foliage Festival takes place in Nagatoro Town, Saitama Prefecture.

Located within two hours of central Tokyo, Nagatoro boasts a vast array of breathtaking mountains and sparkling rivers for visitors to enjoy as soon as they step off the train. In addition to white water river rafting―a must for visitors to the town―the Hodosan Ropeway operating hours are extended during the festival period to provide guests with the opportunity to enjoy both day and night-time scenery, and specific areas are lit up in the evening for a full-day fall foliage experience.

This article aims to provide a short introduction to several activities and events to help visitors get the most out of their visit to Nagatoro.
