Nagasaki Penguin Aquarium
You can see over 170 penguins of eight different species in this aquarium.
The facility holds a “Fureai Penguin Beach” event, the world’s only event where people can see penguins swimming in part of the ocean next to the facility and come close to feed them. You can watch, touch, and fully enjoy your time with adorable penguins.
- WEEKDAY; 9-10 am on SATURDAY From “Eki-Mae Higashi-Guchi Bus-Stop” — from JR Nagasaki Station, walk across the pedestrian bridge, and you will find the bus-stop in front of Yoshino-Ya. Use the bus bound for “Aba” or “Kasuga Shako-Mae” and get off at “Penguin Suizokukan-Mae”. Approx 30 min.
- SAT/SUN/NATIONAL HOLIDAY; From “Eki-Mae Minami-Guchi Bus-Stop” — from JR Nagasaki Station, walk across the pedestrian bridge, and you will find the bus-stop diagonally in front of Nihonkai-Showya. “Eki-Mae Higashi-Guchi Bus-Stop”is not available.v Get off at “Penguin Suizokukan-Mae”
